Cheesesteak City TV is a documentary and social media channel dedicated to covering the shops and families that make up the unique fabric of Philadelphia. Our primary thesis is that there A LOT of really good cheesesteak spots in Philly, and perhaps spending too much time trying to find “The Best” might be missing the point…

Our “Behind The Window” series will launch in the Fall, It’s a 30-for-30 meets Behind The Music style docu-series profiling the families behind the most iconic Cheesesteak shops.Through in depth interviews conducted over several years, never before seen photos and archival footage we will give tell the real stories, and also how some of the themes connect to larger issues in Philadelphia.

Our intrepid team of reporters at Cheesesteak City TV News will give viewers front row access, reporting live from cheesesteak-related events, as well as general happenings-of-note around Philadelphia. In addition to investigative journalism answering tourists most pressing questions, but also taking viewers to places only a local would know to check out.
